Proudly serving the Greater Columbia area including Ellicott City, Silver Spring, Clarksville and nearby.
Barrier free showers don’t have a curb to step over when you’re getting in and out of the shower. This prevents slips and falls that often happen trying to navigate in and out of the shower on wet tiles. Barrier free is an added convenience but is also necessary for people who are in a wheelchair or have physical limitations. Shower doors come in all shapes and sizes, but this is a custom door. The glass is cut thick and requires larger hinges to help support the weight. The glass becomes the actual structure of the shower and allows for little to no framing on the shower at all.

This home was built in the 70’s and over time never lost its traditional aesthetic and charm. Our clients, and the current homeowners, came to us wanting refresh the look of the exterior of the home. The multi colored brick matches nicely with the new shutters and siding we added onto this home. Keeping with the traditional style of the home, the homeowners weren’t looking for eye catching or flashy colors. Their home did get a new design element added onto the front with the addition of the portico we built above their front door. The new portico matches the angle of the homes existing gable. To make sure there was seamless continuity between the new portico and the homes existing roof structure we added a half circle design in the gable of the portico. The half circle shape was replicated from the half circle vent on the attic.
The black shutters really stand out among with white aiding, and are a visual break from the busy pattern on the brick. The home was able to maintain its original style and design, but with a modern twist, and the homeowners were so pleased that their house got some much needed TLC.
Our clients were tired of their traditional kitchen. They felt the room was very old fashioned. The size of the cooking and dinning area was far too cramped. It was an inadequate workspace with out-dated appliances and very little counter and storage space. They were ready to change the choppy, drab 31- year old layout they currently faced day in and day out. Their dream was to have a spacious kitchen, efficient as possible, and one that complimented their existing home.
We tore down an existing small utility room and pantry and then had to remove and relocate the washer and dryer. Ductwork and plumbing were added. The ceilings are low which created some hardships. A portion of the kitchen floor was sagging. We installed a new sub floor.
When designing the kitchen, we took in consideration that one of our customers favorite past times is cooking. All appliances are stainless steel Sub zero. We installed a free- hanging range hood. Instead of one sink, they now have two. The Tan Brown granite countertops along with the dark wood of the cabinetry make this kitchen very rich looking. There are two islands and an enormous amount of counter space and storage.
Our clients are elated! They are very satisfied with their newly designed renovation updated with the most modernized features to make it versatile and easy to maintain. When finished, we doubled the size of their kitchen area-what a great feature since the kitchen is the gathering is the gathering area for most families.
