Starcom Design/Build Case Studies: ADA Accessible Bathroom in Gwynn Oak, MD

Challenge

Our client recently moved into a home that did not have the ADA accommodations that were necessary for his parents. He wanted to make sure that everyone was comfortable in the new house and therefore decided to remodel two of the bathrooms. 

Solution

To achieve an ADA compliant bathroom, a roll-in shower unit and comfort height commode were installed in the master bathroom. The sink was mounted at 32 inches from the floor and was installed with an electronic faucet.

It was imperative that the homeowner's parents felt comfortable in the house. The modifications made by Starcom helped to give everyone in the home peace of mind and added convenience.
