Spring 2015 Open House Series....

This year we finished some beautiful “whole house” remodels, and friends and neighbors were invited to come in and share the excitement.

The first event took place March 14, In Ellicott City in The Enclave at Ellicott Hills community. This event was well attended despite some rather rainy weather!

Visitors were inspired by this gorgeous home and saw firsthand the creative transformation of the existing space. The project's talented designer, as well as our expert project manager, were available to answer the visitor's questions. After they saw how the solutions we crafted for our clients to offer beauty and livability, without compromising structural soundness and safety, many attendees left with fresh ideas and plans for their own projects.

Here’s a quick glimpse at what visitors encountered as they toured the home:

As you enter, you’ll experience a bright, open space that welcomes guests into the home.

Moving into the kitchen, you’ll be impressed in particular by the overall open design which incorporates a stunning—and functional—center island, along with both a wet and a dry bar. Over the wet bar, the unique tile work and the luxury of the new granite counter tops make this an inspiring remodel. In this kitchen, storage won’t be a problem with the new Norcraft cabinets and full extension glide drawers that make the best use of every inch of space. Complementing the tones of the tile work, the new stainless steel appliances complete the elegance of this amazing kitchen.

Working their way through the master bedroom to the master bathroom, the zero threshold walk-in shower enclosure stole the show with its Marazzi/Studio M decorative tile. The designer created the ultimate shower experience with shower heads and sprays by Kohler and Delta. The remainder of the bathroom, with its all-new Norcraft cabinets and granite vanity tops, fights not to be upstaged.

Heading upstairs, visitors are treated to a second bathroom with an equally exciting, yet different look using similar finishes. Here, again Norcraft cabinets, granite vanity tops, and custom tile work complete the experience with plumbing fixtures provided by Kohler and Sterling.

Attendees delighted in the warm and appealing new espresso floors throughout the house, and the new lighting that featuring energy-efficient and durable LED’s joined the cutting edge look with a traditional homey comfort. Even  the closet spaces and laundry room  throughout the house have been re-engineered for better use of space.

The second event recently took place April 18, in Sykesville, MD.

Attendees enjoyed a visit to take in these stylish rooms and saw firsthand the creative transformation of the existing space. See how the solutions we crafted for our clients offer beauty and livability, without compromising structural soundness and safety.

Stepping into this newly renovated Kitchen and you will instantly feel its warm and inviting ambiance. An attractive contrast was created between the rich dark finish on the island cabinets and the antique white paint on the perimeter cabinets. Make note of all the cabinet details, including the beaded board panel on the back of the island that matches the cabinet finish, and the built-in wine bar where stemware is on display behind glass panel inserts. Superbly constructed Norcraft cabinets featuring full extension glides, dovetail drawer boxes and soft close glides make this a truly delightful Kitchen experience!

Luxury of the Cambria quartz countertops along with the sparkling Bellavista glass tile backsplash that make a big impact as it extends around the room. The sleek farmhouse-style sink lends a contemporary vibe to the kitchen. An Addison “Touch 2” faucet  by Delta provides great style and ease of activation for the homeowner with its touch-on/touch-off technology.

Moving on to the Master Bath where Norcraft maple vanity cabinets in a deep espresso finish offer a clean, modern look. The vanity, with its two rectangular undermount sinks, was carefully designed to function perfectly when more than one person is using the space. Take time to appreciate the amazing custom shower that features both a showerhead as well as a handheld shower, a pivot door and a comfortable shower bench. Two exquisite, coordinating tile patterns cover the floor and the walls of the shower, while a decorative glass window in the shower welcome natural light into the Master Bath.
