Sunroom
A sunroom is a fully enclosed room with a plethora of windows, designed to let natural light in. Common features of a sunroom include: windows, skylights, insulated walls, and heating and cooling options. Sunrooms can be designed to be three-season rooms or four-season rooms. Sunrooms are more expensive to build than screened porches but they can also be used longer and greater increase resale value.

Screened Porch
A screened porch is an outdoor enclosed area with screens instead of glass. Common features of a sunroom include: a deck or patio base, open air feel, ceiling fans, and outdoor furniture. Screened porches have a shorter construction time than sunrooms. They are also great for seasonal enjoyment and let the user enjoy the outdoor temperature. Screened porches protect you from bugs, rain, excessive pollen, and the strong sun. However, they are not usable year-round depending on the climate that you reside in. If you want to start with a screened porch, they can always be converted to a sunroom in the future.
