Expanding someone's home can be a challenging experience. With Starcom at work the planning, designing, and execution can come with ease. The Client was looking for an easy solution to their growing need for an Multiple Level Addition to their home. The Family needed more space for their elderly family moving back into town. The joining Families wanted to live close to each other while maintaining their own space.
The Addition would be Multi Story and include two Bedrooms, Bathroom, and a fully furnished Kitchen. The Home's back was where the most visual changes were when adding the Addition. However, despite the most visual changes were to the back that left the front originally intact, the Family also wanted a New Roof, Siding, and Windows.
The Multiple Story Addition was the perfect decision to help the two families support one each other while maintaining their own space. The elderly Family moving in felt comfortable moving in.
Small addition that would feature as a functioning Sunroom Addition with a small Kitchen was what this family was looking for. They wanted the Addition to extend off of the home into the back yard and have windows. Starcom Design & Build was on the scene in no time. After some design choices and planning, the work was underway in no time!
The Addition would seamlessly match the home down to even the same roof designs. Inside the Sunroom would be a furnished Kitchen and Family area with the view of the back yard. This view was not just a view but also an easy way to get onto the back deck! The Unique roofing style was not the only special design about this home but also the one big window looking out into the back yard. The window put in at a 45 horizontal latitude that gave the square home more unique style while utilizing how big the window could be. The windows offer natural light into the home and give a nice view of the backyard.
The finished result was a stunning small addition with a big personality. The Family loved that the design to match the original home while offering more space for family activities and making their deck fitting with their home.
A Seamless Transformation by Starcom Design Build

To enhance accessibility, the project included a three-stop Stiltz Trio Alta Elevator, cleverly designed with half doors for all three floors of the main home. This thoughtful feature ensured convenience without compromising aesthetics.
Natural light poured in through Pella Encompass Energy Star windows, including a sleek sliding door that opened onto the deck, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection.
When the work was complete, the family were thrilled. Their home now offered more space, modern features, and a beautiful deck for enjoying the outdoors—all while maintaining the charm of the original design. Starcom Design Build had delivered not just an addition, but a transformation that exceeded expectations.
