For this addition the home owner wanted to keep their patio, but add an addition and a deck. Starcom was able to provide plans for the home owner about the second story addition with an added deck to really flush out the back of the home. The backyard is more inviting and connects to the home.
A second story sunroom addition was added with many windows to overlook the view! Inside the addition is a comfortable living room that offers both relaxation and a nice view for the backyard. The big windows also allow natural light to brighten up the room in a cozy way. Easily the home owner can have gatherings for indoors, deck, and outdoor areas with a nice blend and a seamless design from the original home.
Starcom was happy to have worked on a big project such as this in time for the summer weather to begin!
Our client came to us with frustrations about her kitchen island. It was an unusual shape and the dishwasher was not next to the sink. This caused drips all over her wood floor and irritation. She also disliked the bar height seating. The island was original to the home and a builder grade "one size fits all" error.
Starcom rebuilt the style and dimensions to utilize the space to function better and update the look. With a more spacious concept the client was able to use the kitchen more effectively by condensing the kitchen products while keeping and improving counter space. By positioning this area more open too allows an open concept for the kitchen. This open space concept allows the kitchen to have less cramping and more cooking!
The finish project excited the client and she felt the tailored adjustments were a big improvement than what she had been working with.
Our client's had a designated laundry space that wasn't working for their family. The cramped area was unfit for their growing family's needs.
We added a 1/2 bath, cabinetry into the mudroom to increase storage and an utility sink to keep things extra clean! A dryer was added along with new cabinets, color scheme, and layout for organization. Ridding of the table for the dryer, shelves and hangers were put up for the cloths. By placing the cloths on hangers left the area looking tidy and kept the cloths from gaining wrinkles. The cabinets were replaced with glass to easily see what held inside. They also freed up space to allow for those shelves and hangers. The room replaced the stale looking yellow to a fresh looking blue.
With some rearranging and updating, this laundry space was transformed from unorganized and took up a lot of space to a fully functional area of the home. The client felt the space was more useful and connected well to the rest of the house.
Moving into and renting a new office space can be a hassle the first time with planning which room does what for your company. With the help from Starcom Design Build the new office building was reworked to be more efficient.
The walls that made-up the Hallway were knocked down, opening the space for more computers, wall art, easier access to the office, and allowing big windows to be installed to let in as much natural light as possible. To truly make it their own space wooden walls were added to add some individuality to the space without taking away from the professional atmosphere. New floorings, walls, and ceiling were also installed in the office space with high end, long lasting, materials.
The newly completed office space has been completely transformed the workflow and environment, creating an open layout that maximizes productivity and maintains a clean, organized atmosphere.
