Looking to expand their home but to keep close to their outdoor roots, this family decided a screened in porch was the best route. This was a good idea as the family is very outdoorsy and by having a screened in porch. By utilizing an out door porch they were able to maximize their interior expanded space while keeping a close connection with the out doors
A screened-in porch addition with composite materials gives the homeowners a place to enjoy the outdoors without the bugs. Two sky lights were also added to make the room feel its outside as close as possible. Access to the back yard is still possible which is a great opportunities for hosting gatherings for both in the backyard or on the porch.
The homeowner was pleased with the final project and enjoys their backyard space in their screen-in porch.
Starcom's client was looking for to expand their current home to include a big, cozy, living room that could accommodate for their family expanding. With plenty of space in the backyard, there would be the expansion for a family room.
The new addition would act also like a sunroom/deck, allowing the family to enjoy the view and sun from the big windows and easy access to the backyard without losing the comfort in quality of furniture, air-conditioning, fireplace, and tv. The addition will leave the original windows and sliding glass door with a repainted wall and frames. The space also is big enough for family gatherings and sporting events. Big windows let in the natural lighting and give a good view of the back yard; however, the sliding glass door allows the family to go onto the deck and back yard.
Along with the Addition the Deck was redone!
The finished project was professionally completed that offered the growing family a place to raise their children. When all was said and done the project was a success in full filling the new family's request for more space in their home addition.
Starcom Design Build undertook a comprehensive Home Addition project that included a Gym/Garage, Portico, Foyer, Mudroom, and Study. The project was designed to enhance the functionality of the growing fun family that needed more room for fun, family quality space, and a dedicated office Study.
The Garage is a versatile Gym Space as well. This featured strategically placed Skylights to maximize the natural lighting. The floor was finished with a medium gray epoxy paint, providing a durable surface ideal for a Gym Environment. The Addition of the Portico not only improved the home's appeal but also provided a sheltered entrance - enchaining the overall functionality and aesthetic of the entryway. The Foyer was designed to create a welcoming & spacious entrance to the home. Professional designing elements were incorporated to ensure a seamless transition from the portico to the interior spaces. The Mudroom was designed with spacious storage and organization solutions. Durable materials and finishes were chosen to withstand the heavy use for the family's needs. These designs and materials allow long lasting usage. The Study was equipped with a 6-Panel Pocket Doors which featured Brushed Nickle Trim. The elegance & modernity allowed flexible use of the space. Closed when privacy was needed or open to open more of the home for Open Space Concept.

The Client was looking for an easy solution to their growing need for an Multiple Level Addition to their home. The Family needed more space for their elderly family moving back into town. The joining Families wanted to live close to each other while maintaining their own space.
The Addition would be Multi Story and include two Bedrooms, Bathroom, and a fully furnished Kitchen. The Home's back was where the most visual changes were when adding the Addition. However, despite the most visual changes were to the back that left the front originally intact, the Family also wanted a New Roof, Siding, and Windows.
The Multiple Story Addition was the perfect decision to help the two families support one each other while maintaining their own space. The elderly Family moving in felt comfortable moving in.

Natural light poured in through Pella Encompass Energy Star windows, including a sleek sliding door that opened onto the deck, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection.
When the work was complete, the family were thrilled. Their home now offered more space, modern features, and a beautiful deck for enjoying the outdoors—all while maintaining the charm of the original design.
